UNDER 15'S

Orrells under 15's has always been a well-manned outfit, with no shortage of players on match days. Indeed, we have even had the spare capacity to lend players to oppositions who have turned up with men short. That said, we have seen numerous talented lads pass through our ranks and give it up for one reason or another. Of the current squad, only 4 remain from the original
under-7s side.
Coached by Chris & Mick, the players are put through their paces twice a week and they are all prepared to give of their best; fully aware that the team is strong enough to operate on a No train-No play basis.
Season 2002/2003 saw us promoted to Group A and facing much stronger opposition than we had been used to. Pace and fitness seemed to let us downat times with matches being lost in the dying minutes. Credit to the lads, who were all man enough to take defeats on the chin (unlike the coaches and the parents!!) and this made the victories all the more enjoyable.With the exception of a few very welcome new members who have joined us within the last 12 months, we now seem to have a more settled outfit who have played together, both on and off the field, for over 2 years and we are hoping to enjoy one of our best seasons ever. The under 15's is a determined team of enthusiastic, sociable and dedicated players, coaches, parents and supporters who place the childrens welfare and enjoyment of the game above all else.

But we also love to win, so, be careful!!!
